JODesigns- Baby Boy Room: Non Traditional Elements

Baby Room
So I guess you can tell what I have on the brain! No there is no baby Broussard on board but it is okay to dream up beautiful design! I love these round cribs with the whimsical posts and castle like post caps. The addition of colors like orange, red, aqua, and yellow give this room a modern touch. The classic lines of the furniture keeps the design grounded. The wall color is a creamy beige with a blue glossy stencil overlay. The curtains give a bold graphic to add yet another bit of interest.

JODesign- Baby Girl Room:Gray walls

Baby Girl

A Room for a girl. I love the idea of gray walls in a girl's room. It is different and very unexpected! With the addition of a pink sparkly chandelier the mood is quite rich and elegant. Don't be afraid to use a dramatic shade of gray, navy or even black. With the addition of curtains and decor the walls seem more neutral. This gray is Benjamin Moore's Bear Creek 1470. For inexpensive chandelier ideas try places like Home Depot or Lowes. Even Craigslist might have a neutral chandelier that spray painted white, topped with delicate pink shades, and accented with crystals, would make the perfect sparkle to any nursery!
